Due to the beam refinishing work at the Houghton County Arena, the April Board of Director's meeting, as well as the Annual Meeting, have been moved to the Hancock High School Multi-purpose room on Wednesday, April 12 starting at 6:30 pm. The Annual Meeting will start immediately following the conclusion of the Board meeting. Anyone interested in volunteering for one of the positions below should plan to attend. All parents of current players are encouraged to attend and vote on Board of Director positions.
CCJHA Seeking Volunteers
The CCJHA is seeking volunteers for the following positions.
Registrar - The primary responsibility of the registrar is organizing the registration and rostering of players and the management of that information to ensure compliance with USA Hockey and MAHA guidelines.
Board of Director Members - We are seeking two Board of Director members to serve three-year terms. Board members attend monthly meetings and provide overall guidance for the association. They also serve on various committees and help with other association activities such as registration, Jim Markham Hockey Day, etc.
Tournament Director - The CCJHA typically holds an 8U (Mite) tournament every fall, usually around the end of October/beginning of November. The sooner we can get a tournament director working on the various logistics regarding this tournament, the better.
