Copper Country Junior Hockey Association

The Keweenaw Storm travel hockey program places more emphasis on competition than does the house league program. There is continued stressing of the philosophy of enhanced skill development. Some associations refer to these programs as their “competitive” league. These teams play an average of 30 to 60 games per year. Players are selected for travel teams from the combined pool of players in the Calumet Hockey Association (CHA) and the Copper Country Junior Hockey Association (CCJHA).  Try-outs are held each fall.
