2022-2023 CCJHA GIRLS' HOCKEY SEASON IS HERE!

2022-2023 CCJHA Girls' Hockey Sessions Begin on October 14, 2022

We are excited to announce that the CCJHA will be holding girls' hockey sessions for the 2022-2023 season. This will be open to all girls in the following age divisions:

Format

We will tailor the format based on the number of participants. Ice sessions will be led by CCJHA coaches and on-ice helpers. 

Girls will have, at minimum, a weekly practice session. Based on participation and interest, this may be expanded to include an additional weekly skate, with other opportunities for games or tournaments if possible.

Cost

The registration fee is $150, which will cover the weekly, regularly-scheduled skates. All skaters must have a valid USA Hockey registration for 2022-2023.

First Skate

Sessions have begun! The hour-long sessions will generally be scheduled on Friday nights. In the case there is a conflict, e.g., a high school varsity game, we will reschedule to a different time. Check the Weekly Ice Schedule for specific times.

Required Equipment

This will be ice hockey, so full protective equipment is required, including:

• Helmet with Facemask
• Neck Guard
• Chest Protector
• Elbow Pads
• Gloves
• Pants / Breezers
• Shin Guards
• Hockey Skates
• Pelvic protector shorts (or equivalent)
• Stick (appropriate age)
• Mouth Guard
• Hockey socks/jersey
• Equipment Bag

Is Equipment Available?

We have a limited supply of loaner equipment available on a first come, first served basis. This equipment is sized more for younger kids (8U) and does not include hockey skates or helmets. Contact our equipment manager for more information.

We are looking for female coaches! If you are interested, please email our Coaching Director, Jeff Van Karsen. 

Registration

All 8U through 19U girls currently registered for the 2022-2023 CCJHA season are welcome to attend the girls' only sessions. You do not need to register again for the girls' sessions.
