Players participate in the house league program at all levels from Mites through Midgets. The house program combines the recreational and competitive aspects of hockey. Skills are continually developed at all age levels. Many associations refer to these programs as their “recreation” league. Teams play an average of 20 to 35 games per year and compete against teams in the CCJHA as well as neighboring teams through CUP league and inter-city competition with CHA teams.
