The Booster Club's mission is to promote and aid the Copper Country Junior Hockey Association and serve as its primary fundraiser.
The Booster Club also manages the concession stands at the Dee Stadium in Houghton and the Houghton County Arena in Hancock.
The funds raised by the CCJHA Booster Club come primarily from the operation of the concession stands at Dee Stadium and Houghton County Arena and fundraisers like the annual wreath sale. Funds raise by projects are used for items like:
The CCJHA Booster Club helps fund scholarships for families in need of financial assistance. The CCJHA scholarship application process is being revised. More information will be available closer to the beginning of the 2022-23 season. If you have questions, please contact the Booster Club via email.

Each family needs a Dibs account to sign up for concession hours during the hockey season. Volunteers are needed to keep the concession stands open to help keep our registration costs down.
We use the Dibs system to schedule and manage our volunteer opportunities. Required hours of volunteer time are completed by working shifts in the concession stands at the Dee Stadium and the Houghton County Arena.
For 2021-2022, each family is required to complete seven (7) hours of volunteer time per CCJHA player. There is a maximum of 21 hours owed, even if a family has more than three players.
Head coaches will receive 7 hours of volunteer credit. Team managers will receive 3.5 hours of volunteer credit.
Please consider working a few extra hours and donating them to assistant coaches!
To get started, please do the following:
Yes. A new Dibs activation is required each season. However, you do not need to create a new Sportsengine website login if you already have one.
Do not sign up for multiple accounts for multiple players. On the signup page, you will have the opportunity to list all of the players in your family so that they are listed under a single Dibs account.
Sign up for one Dibs account, even if you have a split household. Multiple accounts create confusion in the system and often result in hours not being correctly credited.
When claiming the Dibs session, this should be done under the account to which the hours will be credited.
Example: John wants to work a shift for Family A.
Even though John has his own Dibs account for his child, John would ask Family A to claim the Dibs item under their account and list John as the volunteer. After John has worked the shift, it will be completed and added under Family A's Dibs account.
If you have questions about DIBS signup, please contact Amy Blake, Dibs Administrator.
