Earn Your Stripes Clinic
Earn Your Stripes is a USA Hockey/MAHA on-ice officials development clinic for Level 1&2 referees.
This is an opportunity for new referees to work with USA Hockey mentor officials on the ice in game situations. If you are a new referee and have never had any training on the ice, or you haven't had much experience and want to gain confidence, this event is for you.
The 2025 event is free of charge, thanks to support from the CCJHA and a grant from the David Wiitanen and Slim McLean Memorial Youth Hockey Fund.
Levels
Earn Your Stripes for Level 1 Officials or Level 2 Officials who would like more on-ice instruction to build their skills and gain confidence.
Requirements
You must have a valid USA Hockey card and crest or ID for the 2025-2026 season (first year officials) to participate. If you were an official last year, you are eligible to participate with your 2024-2025 card and crest.
Participants should wear their full officials' uniform for this event.
Fall 2025
Earn Your Stripes is a USA Hockey/MAHA on-ice officials development clinic for Level 1 & 2 referees.This one-day clinic will take place on September 20, 2025 at HOCO Arena from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
This event is free of charge, but you must register in advance to participate. The deadline to register is Friday, September 11, 2025.
