Applications will be reviewed by the CCJHA travel committee. Recommendations will be made and voted on at the June 8, 2022 CCJHA board meeting.
The deadline to submit an application is May 30, 2022.
Our in-person Annual Awards Night is back! Join us as we recognize the achievements made by our players throughout the season.
Date: Wednesday, April 27, from 6:00-8:00 pm
Location: Houghton High School Auditorium
Each coach will present individual achievement awards to their players, as well as any patches they earned throughout the season. We'll also present awards for the following:
If you still have your new game jerseys that were handed out this season, please give your WASHED jersey to your coach on Awards Night. If you are unable to attend, please contact your coach to make other arrangements.
For 6U Sayen’s, 10U-14U House, and 19U Girls: we will not be collecting the old CCJHA HOUSE game jerseys (with the CCJHA logo).
We will be collecting the 8U and travel team jerseys (Thrivent, Hancock Fire, Houghton Fire, CC Old Timers, Portage Lake Flyers - all ages).
If you were given a practice jersey at the beginning of the season, please wash and turn those in with your game jersey.
Please come prepared with your individual achievement awards for your team. Each team will have a few minutes to hand out awards and recap/elaborate on their kids and accomplishments if they choose to do so.
This is the first time in years that we’ve been able to do this ceremony in person. It means a lot to the kids to receive these awards and be recognized.

Team Jersey turn-in will take place on Thursday, April 28 from 6:00-8:00pm at Houghton County Arena. If you are unable to drop off at that time, contact Travis Kilpela at 906-231-1904 to make other arrangements.
Coaches are eligible for reimbursement for the following items for the 2021-2022 season:
Use the Coaching Reimbursement Form to upload the various receipts for your required coaching expenses. The deadline to submit for reimbursement is April 30, 2022.
