Scholarship Nomination Form

We are humbled and deeply grateful to share that the CCJHA has received an anonymous donation in loving memory of former CCJHA player Dennis “Stenner” Sten. Dennis went on to play high school hockey, the Continental Hockey League, with the Portage Lake Pioneers, and the CC Old Timers, while being a mentor to youth hockey players during and after his playing career. His lifelong passion for hockey and his commitment to youth development reflect the very mission of the CCJHA.

This generous gift will double the amount of funding available to support CCJHA players during the 2026–27 season. As part of this support, the Board offers scholarships to assist families facing financial challenges. These scholarships ensure our youth have the opportunity to get on the ice. We cannot overstate our gratitude for this incredible contribution to our families and players.

Scholarship applications are open now through October 1, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by a committee and families will be notified following the October 7, 2026 CCJHA Board of Directors meeting.

Any scholarship amount received is applied to the registration balance. There is a good faith minimum $50 required at the time of registration.

Families applying for a scholarship can choose the installment plan when registering to pay the initial $50 fee.
